estling
at the foot of the Dublin (Irelands capital
city) mountains lies the unique historical
valley of Glenasmole. Unique in more ways
than one. To find such a beautiful,
unspoiled, rural retreat a mere 7 miles from the
capitals center is unheard of in any other
European (or possibly world) capital city.
BUT
Glenasmole IS Under Threat...
Amongst the myrid of fauna, wild life and farm
animals lies a sinister threat to the beauty of
this valley enjoyed by the locals and tourists
alike. Incredible as it may seem, South Dublin
County Council proposes to build a landfill site
in the valley that will obliterate centuries of
farming history, fauna and wildlife alike as
well as ruining a much loved country paradise
for many. Instead Glenasmole valley is
doomed to become the rubbish pit for an entire
section of the capital city.

website has been designed to gain your support
